Bambini Early Learning The INSPIRE Curriculum

“Since the jobs that our (children) will do probably don’t exist yet, our priority is to teach them the skills to adapt, inquire, question and cooperate — life skills...” ~ Caroline Bellouse

    SQ: Social and Community

  • IQ School

    IQ: School Readiness

STEAM Education is an interdisciplinary approach to learning and is deeply interwoven into our program to ensure school readiness.

At Bambini Early Learning, each room incorporates our Bambini INSPIRE Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

The Bambini INSPIRE Curriculum is a play-based approach and focused on each child’s unique strengths, skills and interests. AQ (Adaptability and Resilience), EQ (Emotional Wellbeing), IQ (School Readiness) and SQ (Social and Community) are at the core of the Bambini INSPIRE Curriculum.

AQ: Adaptability and Resilience

To inspire young minds, instilling adaptability and resilience is key. We’re not just about engaging play. We are committed to building leaders of tomorrow. To do this, we equip your child with self-help skills, regardless of their stage in life.

We provide the children authentic avenues to apply everyday concepts in real life experiences using the one hundred languages to communicate their thoughts, emotions and ideas in infinite ways. Through this we aspire to create inventors and discoverers of the future, not just someone able to replicate ideas.

EQ: Emotional Wellbeing

We’re passionate about creating compassionate, caring and empathetic leaders who are equipped with strong emotional intelligence. As your child learns to interact with others, we teach them how to recognise complex emotions, deal with conflict, build healthy relationships and display empathy.

We champion children’s voices and make their learning visible, supporting their dreams and aspirations. We utilise every moment of your child’s life as an opportunity to equip them with the skills they need to become creative, articulate and independent citizens of tomorrow.

SQ: Social and Community

SQ and EQ are skills that help children to work out challenges and respond to situations successfully. These cannot be measured in any kind of IQ tests but are of great importance in navigating life successfully. The ability to manage yourself has become the new measure of assessing competence in the 21st century.

We embrace our unique, collaborative approach and encourage children to become enthusiastic participants and communicators, actively contributing to their own learning.

We help instil confidence in your child as they learn to initiate play, be courageous in new environments and develop a love for life and community.

We also encourage them to embrace diversity in all areas of life and facilitate activities with local councils and schools to help build a sense of community and harmony.

IQ: School Readiness

“When a child asks you, ‘Why is there a moon?’ don’t reply with a scientific answer. Ask him, ‘What do you think?’ He will understand that you are telling him, ‘You have your own mind and your own interpretation and your ideas are important to me…’ It is not the answers that are most important, it is the process – that you and he searched together.” – Carlina Rinaldi, Director of the Reggio Emilia Preschools

Starting school is an important milestone in your child’s life, and at Bambini Early Learning, we create strong foundations for learning in school and beyond. We provide building blocks to help prepare your child for school the minute they walk in the door, with our holistic ‘School Readiness’ program.

The program nurtures their social, emotional, academic and skill development – with a focus on developing independence and honing self-help skills, language and communication, wellbeing, literacy and numeracy concepts, and more. We know how important it is to prepare your child for primary school.

‘STEAM’ – is an interdisciplinary approach to learning that incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics.

At Bambini Early Learning & Preschool, STEAM is deeply interwoven into every aspect of our program and offers the children endless hands-on opportunities to play, create, experiment, enquire and think critically and be able to use their one hundred languages.

By combining the Early Years Learning Framework, our programs and our partnerships with families, we develop clear goals and milestones for your child as they prepare to transition to primary school and beyond.

Tailored and holistic early learning

When it comes to educating your child, we take an innovative, nurturing and unique approach that equips them with the core skills they need for life.

Our passion is to inspire young minds. We build on your child’s unique strengths and experiences and then we set them up for success.

Bambini Early Learning follows the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF): The Belonging, Being and Becoming. This is Australia’s National Quality Framework for early childhood education and care.

We also place a strong emphasis on play-based learning, recognising the importance of communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy) and social and emotional development.

We know that you have your child’s growth and development on your mind. Whether you are looking to improve their academic skills or nurture their passions, every child’s early learning path is unique and it can take many forms.

Child-focused early learning

At the heart of our uniquely designed Bambini INSPIRE Curriculum, our holistic play-based programs focus on contemporary theories of early learning, wellbeing and child development, based on/around the four intelligences (AQ, EQ, IQ, SQ). The aim is to develop life skills for the future.

“Learning and teaching should not stand on opposite banks and just watch the river flow by; instead, they should embark together on a journey down the water. Through an active, reciprocal exchange, teaching can strengthen learning.” – Loris Malaguzzi

The Bambini Curriculum will guide your child in an authentic way through real life experiences and inspire them to communicate their thoughts, emotions and ideas. We aspire to develop children who are ready for the future.

We design early learning programs that cater to your child’s unique strengths and interests. The Bambini INSPIRE Curriculum will support every stage of your child’s journey.

So whether your child is interested in painting, discovering insects or learning about numbers, we provide an environment to develop diverse interests. Facilities such as our Bambini Atelier Art Studio, Friends of the Bush or Wellbeing Program support the Bambini INSPIRE Curriculum and focus on your child’s development.

At Bambini Early Learning, we’re really proud to be different. We do whatever it takes to see your child be ready for a life of success. We prioritise academic, developmental and social skills to build a solid foundation for your child’s early learning and beyond.

To ensure your child’s early learning is of the highest quality, we focus on four areas: AQ (Adaptability and Resilience), EQ (Emotional Wellbeing), IQ (School Readiness) and SQ (Social and Community).

The Reggio Emilia philosophy

Our Bambini INSPIRE Curriculum is designed to give your child the opportunity to be creative and resilient. To achieve this, we follow a philosophy that guarantees your child’s early learning success. We believe that the Reggio Emilia philosophy is in line with our passion to inspire young minds. Our team of highly qualified educators is proud to integrate an innovative and inspiring approach to early childhood education.

The Reggio Emilia philosophy focuses on the innate curiosity of children and aims to assist them with understanding their world and who they are in it.

Bambini fully embodies the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which promotes resilience, responsibility, self-confidence, teamwork and problem solving. These foundations set Bambini Early Learning above the rest.

We want to develop unique individuals who embrace their strengths and experiences. By implementing the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we encourage your child to explore and discover the wonders of the world in a supportive and rich environment, where the curriculum is created around their interests.

Here’s what parents
have to say

Otis has been part of the Bambini family for three years. It is very evident the time and love the staff put into the interactions with the kids, including the way they’re greeted by name by all the team and the love our little boy has for his teachers. We love hearing the adventures of his day when Otis gets home.

We have been part of the Bambini family for over six years and are about to see our third and fourth children join the fun, while the other two head to big school! I cannot speak highly enough of the positive and fun play-based educational experiences our children have enjoyed over the years. All the staff show genuine love and kindness to the children and have unremitting enthusiasm when it comes to craft, creativity, crazy singing and dancing, gardening and outdoor play.

Our children have been lucky enough to attend Bambini for the last three years, and over this time we have watched them grow into happy pre-schoolers, engaged in learning and socially confident – ready to take on the world! Their caring and qualified staff care deeply for each individual child, they follow their interests and find exciting learning opportunities at every turn. Our children have forged friendships and strong bonds with their carers.

We have had such a wonderful, positive experience at Bambini. The staff and educators are always so friendly and go out of their way to help in any way they can. The educators have developed thoughtful and appropriate learning experiences for the children and our son has loved being part of the various incursions and special events.

We have been associated with Bambini since it opened its doors in 2008. The warm and engaging manner of the Director and staff on our first day set the tone for the next eight years. The staff are passionate and engaged with a clear interest in every child, and the centre is always orderly and clean amidst the colour and fun that goes on every day.

As working parents, Bambini has become an extension of our son’s day-to-day life. The educators provide fun, learning and cuddles in equal measure, and his development is thriving in this nurturing and trusted environment.

Both of my children have been in the care of the fantastic staff at Bambini, led by Anmol. It is a tough thing for any parent to leave their babies with someone else to care for them, but I can honestly say that Bambini is a great, safe and happy environment that has really helped shape both my boys in a positive manner. They have built lifelong friendships over the last seven years that we have been part of the Bambini family.
